In 1987 Philippe Vantomme starts his company "Video Service Vantomme". His prime goal is to provide the best SERVICE to his customers. In 1988 GENERAL ELECTRIC, in those days the High Power projection market leader, chooses Video Service Vantomme as sole distributor for the TALARIA High Power projectors and the NEC CRT projectors. These G.E. projectors were called IMAGER.
In 1994 GE?s projector department was sold to NEC. As VSV had an excellent reputation in the multi-media branch, the company was selected to further represent the Professional Graphics products of NEC for the Benelux.
During the following years, VSV extends its range of products. Extron, Wolfvision and Polyvision are just some examples.
In 1996 VSV start its own sales office in Holland. Local respresentation becomes necessary because of the growing importance of the Dutch market.
At the end of 1999, under rapid changing market conditions, VSV becomes a Vanerum Group company. During the following years this step is proven to be a success: the combination of different market approaches and knowledge in the group, makes that VSV grows faster and faster.
Today, VSV is a well organized distributor with a state of the art warehouse and application center, combined with the unique experience of a staff of 20 well trained and committed team players.
